Partner Interview

My partner name is Taumyra. She likes to talk and read books.

Taumyra is a very open person and loves to interact with others. She loves make people smile. 

Taumyra favorite subject is spanish even though she doesn't understand very much of it. She loves how is sounds.

Taumyra is not involved in any after school activities but she loves to work out. She goes to the YMCA to work out down town.

She likes to hang out with her friends and loves to shop. She couldn't wait for winter break.

 She has a job and works at a nursing home. She loves working there because she communicates with older people with a lot of wisdom.

Taumya hates going outside because she doesn't like the smell. Taumyra loves walking on the treadmill at the YMCA its her favorite thing to do when she gets there.

Taumya loves cooking for her family. 

Amazing thing

Something that happened to me that is amazing to me is me moving schools and would be me finding who am i through this move. I have had so many problems throughout my past and to finally realize who i am and what you stand for is so amazing.

When I first moved schools I wasn't so proud of it. I was actually kind of upset.

But when I got here things weren't as bad as I tried to make it seem.

I grew in a lot of ways. As in a mature way and just as a person.

This school wouldn't be first choice but I am making light of the situation. It would be stupid to not and hate high school.

I feel as if I can be myself. I think a lot has a lot to do with just within. I'm not really involved in a lot of school activities but I do, do a lot out of school.

My relationship with my family is so much better, almost better than it has ever been. My mom is happy about the move.

I love who I am becoming and that is one thing that I am proud of about this move. When I look back on life i can give all the props for making me move schools. And that is one thing that is so amazing to me.

12 Years a slave review

This story has such a powerful message. I would say that this movie is an attention getter.

 Solomon who is the main character was born as a free slave. Two guys lied to him saying they had a great opportunity for him working and playing the violin for them and get paid very well money.

They took him to dinner and drugged him up and sold him into slavery. This movie will have your full attention.

It has a slow beginning but the story gets better as you watch. The film will not make sense to you if you don’t watch closely.

But is still a great movie. This film is very detailed it has some nudity and some foul language.

I wouldn’t recommend this movie for your children. This film is based on a true story.

This film gives you a great in sight on how living, as a black man was hard. Everyone in the audience was quiet.

This film is sentimental. There is no way you could watch this film and not feel anything about it.

Watching this movie will keep your brain going. This film is far from boring!

Everyone who was at the theater was quiet. You could tell that everyone was into the movie.

I would recommend this movie to anyone older than 15. You will defiantly be into the movie.

This will not be a waste of time nor money. You will get your money’s worth.

Everyone should see this movie and I hope everyone enjoys this movie as much as I did.

Kelly Rowland is gorgeous and is a great role model. She grew up with Beyonce and became famous at the same time.

Kelly Rowland's mom left Kelly's dad because of abuse. Kelly is smart and she is very different than any other artist.

Her and Beyonce are my number two role models. I love her music.

Her voice is very powerful. She grew up in a church and used to sing all of the time.
Just like Kelly's role model who is Whitney Houston.

I admire Kelly Rowland because she is very independent and has a lot going for her selves.

Beyonce is so talented. She is so beautiful and has so much potential. Everyone should read this because it talks about how humble she is and how great of a artists she is.

Not every artist can pull off her songs and dance moves as much as she can! A lot of people think Beyonce is cocky, but when you really think about it you cant name a artist that isn't.

She is strong and beautiful. I believe everyone  should read and research about Beyonce because in my opinion she is a great artist.

Who am i

I am junior at Roosevelt High School. I am short funny and smart. I am someone who can make you laugh. I am someone who is always doing something I am never “bored”.

I am a person who is very independent and hate depending on people. When I get older I want to go to college and become a lawyer or an accountant. .

I want to get married, I have always wanted to adopt a kid and I am going to when I get the appropriate age and ready for a kid of my own. I want 3 children and a dog.

I have this dream, as when I get older I want to help change the world. I want to be known as doing something positive for the world.

I want to give back to the community. My dad and I talk all the time about opening a community center and helping kids and adults out with life.

I am a very considerate person; sometimes I don’t show it because I don’t want people mistaking me as in a “soft” person. I love making new friends and visiting new places.

I love going to church. I haven’t been able to go in a while because of my job. I usually work from sun up to sun down on Sunday’s.

 I hate not going to church. But soon I will find another job so I can start going to church again.

One of my favorite subjects in school is English. I don’t know what is but I have always been an expert in that class.

I am the type of person that can never stick to something. I once played the violin. I quit. I once played tennis. I quit. I was once on the cheerleading team and made captain. I quit.

See the pattern I can never just pick a sport and stick with it. I don’t know what it is.

I thought about going out for the soccer team here at the school, but my mom changed my mind real quick telling me if I play I will have to finish the season out. I created a lot of bad habits.

People always tell me that I am a good listener. I love listening to people problems, and giving my input if needed.

I always get mistaken for being the stuck up type person. I hate that so much.

But when people get to know me, they tell me that I am easy to talk to and that I’m a very sweet person.
